Director of Policy
Liz’s expertise is in research and policy work, with a background in mental health front line service provision and commissioning. She holds a B.A. in Politics (1st) from the University of Leeds and a MSc in Public Policy from UCL (2:1). Since joining Volteface in June 2016, she has published two policy reports, co-hosted a national conference on drug consumption rooms and partnered with the UK’s largest drug and alcohol treatment provider to develop a response to the emerging threat of fentanyls. Alongside her Volteface work, Liz was contracted on a temporary basis to evaluate service provisions delivered in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire and at the Inquiry.
