1. The Influence of Public Health on the Cannabis Industry
As recreational cannabis reform continues to develop at a pace across Europe, an important consideration is now how the industry safeguards itself against becoming the next tobacco or alcohol. Now more than ever, it’s important to ensure harm reduction is at the core to developing regulatory frameworks whilst considering the impact this has on the emerging industry and the illicit market.

2. Developments in the Czech Republic
There is lots going on in the Czech Republic when it comes to cannabis reform. Although there have been several backtracks from officials around what a legal cannabis market could look like, there is much to consider with the changes that have taken place in Germany. This panel will hear from experts on the ground about what a rational approach to cannabis could look like in the Czech Republic

3. What defines a medical cannabis patient?
As recreational cannabis markets begin to unfold, it’s important to have a clear understanding of what constitutes the criteria of a medical cannabis patient right now. Understandably there is a blurring of lines when it comes to separating medical from recreational but a distinction is necessary to improve the current landscape for everyone.

4. Development of the UK market
Although the UK is showing signs of growth and patient numbers are expected to hit 62,000 by the end of this year, there are still significant teething problems to address to see sustainable development. The UK is also a unique sector with plenty of specific considerations to see successful awareness creation and adoption from patients.
