This edition of the Volteface Podcast is a live recording from last week’s ‘Dopeworld Discussion: An insight into the criminal underworld of drugs’ event at the Volteface office. Conversation was rooted in the release of Niko Vorobyov’s recent book ‘Dopeworld’ which documents the global drug trade. This talk centred on the prevalence and complexity of the criminal market; how illicit markets work and make money, and how they are policed and prevented.
Niko spoke from the position as an ex-drug dealer, whilst Joe Kaz (an ex-Special Constable) spoke from a position looking at the efficacy of policing the illicit market. This event was chaired by the Editor of Byline Times, Hardeep Matharu.
