The Panel
Mike Trace
We are delighted to welcome Mike Trace to this edition’s panel. Mike has a plethora of experience in drug policy with a career spanning well over 20 years. Under Tony Blair’s government he served as ‘Deputy UK Drug Czar’, and is currently Chief Executive of RAPt (The Rehabilitation for Addicted Prisoners Trust). Mike was Chair of the International Drug Policy Consortium (IDPC) until 2016, as well as working for the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs & Drug Education (EMCDDA) and the UN’s Office of Drugs & Crime in the past.
Paul North
Volteface’s Director of External Affairs, Paul North, has a decade of experience working in drugs. Paul started out working in drug treatment, which he did for eight years before transitioning into the policy side of the field. Paul has authored and co-authored successful reports including Street Lottery, and more recently, The Children’s Inquiry.
Joe Tibbetts
Joe is the CEO of CLGdotTV and has been the host of Working Lunch for the past three years. He has been varied experience in the media field, in which he has worked for the past 18 years.
